One Pan Pork Chops with Apples

What do I need?
- 4 pork chops
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
- 1 large brown onion, peeled and sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp thyme leaves
- ½ tsp rosemary, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ cup chicken stock
- ½ cup apple cider
- 3 apples, cored and chopped
How do I make it?
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium high heat. Add chops and cook for 5 minutes per side. Remove from pan and set aside.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the frying pan over medium heat. Add onions and cook, stirring occasionally until softened. Add garlic, rosemary, and thyme and cook for a further 2 minutes, stirring.
- Add remaining 1 tablespoon butter, Dijon, chicken stock, and apple cider and stir well. Add apples and cook on a simmer for 7 minutes, then return chops to the pan. Cover with a lid and simmer for a further 5 minutes, then serve.
