Fast Beef Goulash
Hearty and delicious beef goulash usually takes hours to cook, but we’ve got a quick version that will see dinner on the table in under 30 minutes. It has all the flavour without the fuss.

What do I need?
- 800 g rump steak, diced into 2 ½ centimetre chunks
- 1 tbsp plain flour
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 brown onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red capsicum, chopped
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 400 g can chopped tomatoes
- 185 mL beef stock
How do I make it?
- Add beef and flour to a bowl and toss to coat the beef.
- Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Brown beef on all sides, then add onion, garlic, capsicum and paprika to the pan. Cook until the onion has softened, then add tomatoes and stock. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 10 minutes.
- Serve goulash with rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes and a dollop of sour cream if desired.
