How long will it take?
What’s the serving size?
What do I need?
2 rib eye steaks
1 tsp salt
2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp garlic salt
How do I make it?
In a small bowl mix salt, pepper, paprika and garlic salt. Set aside.
Pat rib eyes with paper towel to remove as much moisture as possible.
Sprinkle seasoning mix over both sides of each rib eye.
Heat oven to 190C.
Heat an oven-proof frying pan on the stovetop on medium-high heat. Sear the rib eye for 2 minutes per side. Place the pan in the oven and cook for 3 minutes, then turn the oven off. Leave steaks in the oven to cook in the residual heat for a further 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove rib eyes from the oven and cover with foil to allow to rest for 15 minutes.
