Pretzel Crusted Barramundi
With just the right amount of salty crunch, this pan-fried barramundi is a fab, fast midweek dinner option. Serve with homemade chips and salad for a delicious meal.

What do I need?
- ¾ cup plain flour
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup crushed pretzels
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 500 g barramundi fillets
How do I make it?
- Add flour, salt and pepper to a shallow bowl and mix. Set aside.
- Lightly whisk eggs in a bowl, set aside.
- Pour crushed pretzels into a shallow bowl and set aside.
- Heat butter and oil in a large frying pan over high heat.
- Pat the fish with paper towel to remove excess moisture, then dip into the flour, then eggs, then pretzels.
- Place barramundi into the hot butter and oil mixture and fry until golden brown, turning once, approximately 10 minutes.
