What do I need?

  • 1 packet instant noodles
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp grated parmesan
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 rasher bacon, cooked and roughly chopped
  • Spring onion, to garnish

How do I make it?

  1. Cook noodles according to packet instructions but do not add the seasonings from the packet.
  2. When noodles are cooked drain but reserve 2 tbsp of noodle water.
  3. Whisk egg, soy sauce, parmesan, and black pepper together in a small bowl.
  4. Melt butter in a frying pan over low heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.  Pour drained noodles and reserved noodle water into the frying pan. Add egg mixture and cook, stirring constantly to coat the noodles for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Serve topped with bacon and garnished with spring onion.
