Baked Mortadella Pappardelle with Three Cheeses
Did someone say comfort food? This dish features peppery mortadella combined with pasta and three tasty cheeses for the ultimate tummy filler. Enjoy it with crusty bread or a fresh green salad.

What do I need?
- 350 g pappardelle
- Pinch of salt
- 200 g Pepper Mortadella (available from the Deli)
- 50 g Jarlsberg Cheese, roughly chopped
- 50 g Grana Padano, roughly chopped
- ¾ cup cream
- 50 g Parmesan, grated
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
How do I make it?
- Preheat oven to 200C.
- Fill a large saucepan with water and a pinch of salt. Bring to the boil over high heat.
- Add pappardelle to the water when it is boiling and cook until the pasta is a very firm al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Chop mortadella and add to a large bowl with Jarlsberg, Grana Padano, cream, salt and nutmeg. Stir to combine, then add pappardelle and mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased ovenproof casserole dish. Sprinkle grated Parmesan over the top of the casserole and bake in the oven until the top is golden brown, about 15 minutes. Serve immediately.
