Shish Kabobs
Cooking on the barbecue is our way of summoning warmer weather and longer days. This easy recipe features tender marinated diced beef and vegetables on skewers, making it ideal for barbecuing.

What do I need?
- 700 g diced beef
- 3 tbsp light soy sauce
- ¼ cup teriyaki sauce
- ½ tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup red wine
- ½ green capsicum, cut into cube-shaped pieces
- ½ red capsicum, cut into cube-shaped pieces
- 1 large red onion, cut into pieces
- 1 punnet cherry tomatoes
How do I make it?
- Add diced beef to a large bowl with soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and red wine. Mix well to combine, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat barbecue to medium-high heat. Thread beef and vegetables on pre-soaked wooden skewers and cook, turning regularly, until the meat is cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
- Serve with steamed rice or a green salad.
