Honeyed Apple and Thyme Tarts
Perfect for when you’re craving something sweet, these little tarts are quick, easy to make and only require a handful of ingredients. Try them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delicious dessert.

What do I need?
- 2 apples
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 sheets puff pastry
- 100 g honey
- Thyme sprigs
- Icing sugar, to dust
How do I make it?
- Preheat oven to 180C.
- Thinly slice apples and place in a bowl. Add cinnamon and toss to coat the apples.
- Cut 4 circles from each sheet of pastry and arrange on lined baking trays.
- Spoon honey onto each pastry circle spreading evenly but leaving a ½ centimetre border around the edge.
- Arrange sliced apple on top of honey and sprinkle with thyme sprigs.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the pastry is crisp and golden.
- Dust with icing sugar and serve.
