Frozen Yoghurt Bananas

Enjoy a healthier icy treat with these yoghurt-covered frozen bananas. The bananas are dipped in a blend of Greek yoghurt, almond butter and almond milk and then generously sprinkled with chopped almonds to create a frozen dessert that’s easy to make and wonderful to eat.

What do I need?

  • 6 ripe bananas
  • 12 icy pole sticks
  • ¾ cup Greek yoghurt
  • 3 tbsp almond butter
  • 3 tbsp almond milk
  • 1 cup chopped almonds

How do I make it?

  1. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Peel bananas and cut in half. Insert an icy pole stick into each banana starting at the cut end and pushing in about halfway to the tip.
  3. Place bananas in the freezer for 20 minutes.
  4. While bananas are in the freezer add yoghurt and almond butter to a bowl. Add almond milk to thin the mixture to a dippable consistency.
  5. Remove bananas from the freezer and dip them into the yoghurt mixture then return them to the baking tray. Sprinkle with chopped almonds and return to the freezer for at least 3 hours before serving.
