Caramelised Pineapple
This could quite possibly be the easiest dessert you’ll make this festive season. With just four ingredients and 15 minutes of time, you’ll have a thoroughly moreish dessert on the table.

What do I need?
- 1 pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into spears
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
How do I make it?
- Arrange pineapple spears in a large grill pan. Whisk butter, brown sugar and cinnamon together and brush or pour over the pineapple.
- Cook over medium-high heat for 7 – 10 minutes, or until the pineapple has softened and the butter and sugar have formed a caramel sauce. Turn during cooking to get grill marks on all sides.
- Serve with ice cream if desired.
