What’s the serving size?
Serves 6
What do I need?
- 6 envyTM apples
- 100 g dark chocolate
- ½ cup roasted hazelnuts, chopped
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup desiccated coconut
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 40 g butter, melted
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- Honey to serve, optional
How do I make it?
- Preheat oven to 180C.
- Core envyTM apples and score skin a few times. Cut a small slice from the base of each apple to make them more stable. Cut a slice from the top of each apple and reserve.
- Arrange envyTM apples in the base of a lined baking dish.
- Chop chocolate finely and combine with hazelnuts in a bowl. Chop reserved apple slices finely and add to chocolate and hazelnut mix. Fill the centre of each apple with the choc-hazelnut mix, reserving approximately 2 tablespoons for the topping.
- In a large bowl add oats, coconut, flour, butter, and brown sugar and mix to combine into a crumble.
- Top each apple with the crumble mix and then sprinkle with the reserved choc-hazelnut mixture.
- Bake for 25 minutes, or until the crumble is golden and the apples have softened but are still holding their shape.
- Drizzle with honey if desired to serve.
