Strawberry Bites
Get the kids in the kitchen to create these beautiful choc-coated strawberries. Using just four ingredients they are simple to make and are the perfect little bite for Mother’s Day.

What do I need?
- 250 g punnet strawberries
- ¾ cup white chocolate melts
- 1 ¼ tsp coconut oil
- 2 – 3 drops red food colouring
- Optional garnishes – rose petals, chilli flakes, sea salt, coconut, sugar pearls
How do I make it?
- Wash strawberries and pat dry with paper towel or a clean tea towel, ensuring they are completely dried.
- Line a plate with baking paper.
- Add chocolate melts to a microwave safe bowl with coconut oil. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue microwaving in 15 second increments until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth and creamy.
- Pour half the chocolate mixture into a separate bowl and add food colouring. Stir to combine.
- Working one at a time, dip half the strawberries into the pink chocolate and half into the white chocolate. Place dipped strawberries onto the lined plate, then add any garnishes that you would like.
- Refrigerate strawberries for 15 minutes or until the chocolate has fully hardened.
- Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
