Barbecued Bacon Wrapped Corn Cobs

What do I need?

  • 6 corn cobs, husks removed
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tsp garlic salt, divided
  • 500 g middle bacon rashers

How do I make it?

  1. Preheat barbecue to medium-high heat.
  2. Sprinkle each corn cob with salt, pepper, and garlic salt.
  3. Wrap cobs in slices of bacon, then place each cob on a piece of aluminium foil and roll to enclose. Twist ends of foil to tightly seal.
  4. Place corn on barbecue and cook for about 10 minutes, then turn and cook for a further 10 minutes on the other side. Reduce heat to low and continue cooking for a further 35-40 minutes or until the corn is tender and the bacon is cooked.
