Warm Green Bean Salad
This quick and tasty side only takes a few minutes to prepare and is a great accompaniment to beef, lamb, chicken, and fish.

What do I need?
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2-centimetre piece of ginger, minced
- 500 g green beans, ends trimmed
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp black sesame seeds
- ½ cup grated carrot
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
How do I make it?
- Heat sesame oil and olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and ginger and sauté for 30 seconds, stirring continuously. Add beans and cook for 1 minute before adding water and soy sauce. Stir to combine ingredients, then cover and cook for 2 minutes. Remove cover and stir, then cover again and cook for a further 1 minute.
- Remove pan from the heat and add sesame seeds and carrot and stir. Season with salt and pepper and serve warm.
