Cheesy Garlic Stuffed Mushrooms
Plump mushrooms caps are filled with delicious buttery garlic and topped with cheese. Ideal as an entrée or a snack, you can also up the quantities to serve as a main course with salad.
What do I need?
- 20 mushrooms
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp flat leaf parsley, chopped
- ¼ cup Parmesan, grated
- ¼ cup cheddar, grated
How do I make it?
- Preheat oven to 180C.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Wipe mushrooms with paper towel to clean them.
- Remove stems from mushrooms and finely dice the stems.
- Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat, then add garlic and cook, stirring for 1 minute. Toss in chopped mushroom stems and sauté until lightly browned. Add parsley and stir to combine, then remove from heat.
- Three-quarter fill mushrooms with the garlic mixture.
- Combine Parmesan and grated cheese in a small bowl.
- Add cheese mixture to the mushrooms, filling to the top.
- Arrange mushrooms on baking tray and bake in oven for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden.
