Salted Caramel Martini

What do I need?

  • 30 mL caramel syrup, plus extra for the rim
  • Sea salt, for the rim
  • 45 mL vanilla vodka
  • 60 mL Baileys Irish Cream
  • Toasted marshmallows for garnish

How do I make it?

  1. Place cocktail glass in the freezer for 10 minutes before rimming to stop the caramel syrup from running.
  2. Place caramel syrup in a shallow dish and roll the rim of the glass in it. Then roll rim in a shallow dish of salt to coat the caramel syrup.
  3. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add caramel syrup, vodka and Baileys and shake vigorously.
  4. Strain into prepared glass and garnish with a toasted marshmallow.
