Creamy Avocado Hummus
This rich and creamy hummus is a mash-up (pun intended) of guacamole and hummus. Serve it with fresh vegetables for dunking and it’s the ideal entertainer; or try it spread on toast or in a sandwich.

What do I need?
- 400g can chickpeas, drained
- 2 ripe avocados
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 ½ tbsp tahini
- 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 clove garlic
- Pinch of cumin
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Avocado oil to drizzle
- Chilli flakes to garnish
- Edamame to garnish
- Chick peas to garnish
How do I make it?
- Add chickpeas, avocado, olive oil, tahini, lime, garlic and cumin to a food processor and blend until smooth. Taste and season with salt and pepper as desired.
- Spoon into a serving bowl and drizzle with avocado oil. Sprinkle chilli flakes over the top and garnish with edamame and chick peas. Serve with pita chips and chopped vegetables for dipping.
