Fresh peach chutney
A wonderful condiment for ham, turkey or in sandwiches.

What do I need?
- 1kg yellow peaches, peeled
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 5cm piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- 1/2 cup malt vinegar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 tbs sweet chilli sauce
How do I make it?
- Cut the peaches in half. Remove the stones and roughly chop the flesh.
- Combine peaches, onion, garlic, ginger, vinegar, sugar and sweet chilli in a 3 litre capacity saucepan. Cook on a low heat for 25-30 minutes or until chutney is thick.
- Spoon the hot chutney into hot sterilized jars and seal. Refridgerate after opening.
- Serve with ham or turkey, or use on sandwiches.
