Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers

There’s no denying that everything tastes better with bacon so of course we wrapped these creamy, spicy, cheesy bites in it. These go perfectly with a cold drink at a hot party.

What do I need?

  • 12 jalapenos
  • 250 g cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 12 slices bacon

How do I make it?

  1. Preheat oven to 200C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Cut jalapenos in half lengthwise and scoop out seeds.
  3. Add cream cheese, cheddar, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper to a bowl and mix well to combine.
  4. Fill each jalapeno half with the mixture.
  5. Cut bacon in half lengthwise and wrap a piece around each jalapeno half. Secure bacon with a toothpick.
  6. Arrange jalapenos on baking tray and cook for 20 – 25 minutes or until the bacon is crisp and browned.
  7. Serve immediately.
