    What's in season 


    Autumn in Tasmania brings harvest time for a wide range of fruits and vegetables.
     
    Throughout the state you will find a variety of apples and pears at their peak, along with vitamin packed Asian greens and pumpkin. You can spice things up with wasabi and native pepper leaf.

    Tassie winter can be very cold, however the cold is needed to help grow some of our most loved produce.

    In winter you can be sure to enjoy beetroot in all their glory, coupled with Beurre Bosc and Packham pears. Leafy herbs like parsley, mint and sage are all looking to be paired in delicious meals for the family.

    Spring in Tasmania is something special. The days get warmer and longer.
     
    With the warmer weather of spring we see berries back in all forms, and new season capsicums are pops of colour we all need after winter! There are hazelnuts and walnuts too, plus herbs likes tarragon and dill.
