Carrot and Almond Hummus
Switch your hummus up with this quick and easy Carrot and Almond Hummus. It’s versatile and makes a great dip but is also a lovely served with barbecued meat, fish or chicken.

What do I need?
- 400 g can chickpeas, drained, liquid reserved
- 2 large carrots, grated
- 2 tbsp chopped almonds
- ¼ tsp paprika
- 1 clove garlic
- Juice of 2 small lemons
- ¼ cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper
How do I make it?
- Add chickpeas, carrots, almonds, paprika and garlic to a food processor and blitz until finely chopped.
- Add lemon juice and olive oil and blitz until smooth. Taste and season if desired. If the hummus is too thick, add a little of the reserved chickpea liquid to thin it out.
