Having kids in the house makes for a truly fun and entertaining Christmas. There’s all the excitement of a visit from Santa and the anticipation of what will be under the tree on Christmas morning.  One of our favourite Christmas Eve traditions is leaving out a snack for Santa and his reindeer. But leaving out the same thing every year gets boring so this year why not shake things up a bit and get the kids in the kitchen to help make some unique, tasty treats for Santa? The bonus is that you and the kids can enjoy them too. Here’s four ideas from our Christmas magazine that you can try:

Herby Parmesan Breadsticks – Serve these with your choice of dipping sauces for a mouth-watering treat that Santa will enjoy. Click here to view the recipe.

Christmas Tree Sugar Cookies – These cute cookies are easy to make and the kids will love decorating them. Click here to view the recipe.

Rudolph Cupcakes – Almost too cute to eat … almost! Click here to view the recipe.

Santa’s Little Helper – Santa eats at lot going from house to house on Christmas Eve, so this infused detox water will really hit the spot. It’s fresh, fruity and refreshing and just the thing to keep him going for a long night. Click here to view the recipe.
