Happy International Hot Chocolate Day! January 31 is the time to cozy up with your favourite mug for a day that’s devoted to the delicious chocolate beverage. Did you know that the ancient Mayans drank chocolate made from crushed cocoa seeds mixed in water way back in 500 BC? Despite this long history, it wasn’t until the 1960s that the first powdered hot chocolate that could be mixed with water was manufactured.
