Why our house-made Wursthaus
Quiches are our go-to

We all know that quiches are a complete meal full of tasty goodness. Find out the lengths our kitchen team goes to, to make the perfect quiche.
One of the perks of the job for the Hill Street marketing team is being invited to taste new products at our production kitchen at Cambridge. It’s where we make all the ready-to-eat food we sell in all Hill Street delis, and the Wursthaus range of heat-and-eat meals like our family lasagnes, soups, pies, our new basque cheesecake and quiches.
Our Executive Chef Alan and Sous Chef Georgie recently asked us to taste their Wursthaus quiche range, and we were reminded just why these quiches are our go-to when we need a quick and tasty meal solution made with quality Tasmanian ingredients.
They’re as home-made as you can get – our shortcrust pastry is made from scratch, in-house by our pastry chef Sarah, using real butter. We smoke our own salmon and ham that goes into the quiches. Together with the goodness of eggs and cream, and the fresh veggies Hill Street is known for, these quiches are truly packed full of real, good quality, Tasmanian-sourced ingredients.
Hill Street Wursthaus large quiches are on special for $21.95 (save $3) this week from 2 July.
Drop by your local Hill Street this week to give one a try, our stores will also have some samples to taste at the deli counter, so you can try before you buy!
