You’ve been with Hill Street for a while, what do you feel has been your highlight or greatest achievement?
The friendships I have forged with my coworkers, some are lifelong. I also love that I am continually encouraged to learn new things, think outside the box and I’m given the support to be successful in any aspect of my job.
Do you have any favourite dishes you’re excited about in this year’s festive food offerings?
The Hill Street Lemon Tart is my favourite this year! I am personally always drawn to creating sweet treats and having a part in developing this dessert, it's been a highlight of this Christmas season. The sweet shortcrust pastry is a perfect combination of slightly sweet with a crumbly biscuit texture and the lemon filling is smooth with a tart and sweet profile. I will certainly be having one of these as the centrepiece on my Christmas dessert table! Served with a generous side of local berries, sprinkle of icing sugar and dallop of fresh Tassie cream, yum!
