It’s hard to believe our “new” store on the corner of Arthur and Hill Streets in West Hobart is turning 10! It seems like yesterday that we farewelled the OG Hill Street store, where it all began, on the corner of Hill and Pine Streets more than 23 years ago.
Now in 2025 we’re celebrating being in the new store for 10 years with festivities running from Wednesday 20 August to Tuesday 26 August. We’re celebrating our team, many of whom have been with us for more than 20 years, we’re celebrating our suppliers, old and new, and we’re celebrating you, our customers – thank you for your support of Hill Street West Hobart for the last 10+ years – we are so grateful.
Wednesday 20 August – Happy 10th Birthday Hill Street West Hobart!
Our 10th Birthday celebrations kick off. Watch out for our 10th Birthday commemorative uniforms which the team will be wearing during the celebrations.
We’ll also be profiling some of our longest serving team members in special editions of Who’s Who in our Crew - West Hobart 10th Birthday edition, on our socials and customer emails.
Saturday 23 August 1pm - 4pm – Meet the Producers. Our Meet the Producer community event brings our community and our Tassie producers together. They’ll have stalls and free tastings of their delicious fare.

Tuesday 26 August – 10 x Rewards Points Day
On Tuesday 26 August we’re saying thank you to YOU, our customers, by giving you 10 times the usual Hill Street Rewards points you earn on normal purchases. So where you would normally accrue one point per dollar spent – you’ll receive 10! That’s effectively a 10% discount on eligible purchases. And great news – products which normally accrue 2 points, like specialty cheese, red and white wine, plus homewares, will accrue 10 points per dollar spent too!
