How to take your iced coffee to the next level … kitchen helper

On hot summer days there’s nothing like the clink of ice in your drink to cool you down. Iced coffees are especially refreshing on a summer’s day

To keep them cool and delicious to the last sip, make yourself a few long black coffees and freeze them into ice cube trays. You can then use these in two ways:

  • Pop a few cubes into your homemade iced coffee – they will keep your coffee cold without the dilution that comes with adding ordinary ice cubes.
  • For a quick and easy iced coffee, half-fill your glass with frozen coffee cubes and then top with your chosen cold milk.  The cubes will gradually melt as you drink your homemade iced latte.
