How to measure sticky ingredients so they don’t stick to the spoon…kitchen helper

 

Problem – Recipe calls for 2 tablespoons of honey/golden syrup/some other sticky ingredient and when you try to measure it out, you end up with a thick layer stuck on the spoon.

 

Result – Frustration! And not really knowing if the right quantity has ended up in your recipe. So, what’s the solution?

 

Solution – Spray your spoon or measuring cups with non-stick cooking spray before pouring out your sticky ingredient. The spray will help the sticky ingredient slide right off the spoon.
