How to make a heart shaped hard boiled egg … kitchen hack
This is a cute idea that you can try with the kids, they’ll love to make these cute heart shaped eggs for Mother’s Day.
To make these you will need a few bits and pieces including:
- A chopstick
- Rubber bands
Cut out a piece of cardboard to measure 8 cm x 20 cm. Fold it in half lengthwise.
Boil an egg. While it is still warm, peel the egg and sit the egg on the cardboard on the fold. Place the chopstick on top of the egg and then put a rubber band over each end of the chopstick. This will push the chopstick gently into the surface of the egg.
Leave the egg to cool for about 10 minutes then remove the chopstick, rubber bands and cardboard. Now when you cut the egg in half you will have two cute love hearts.
