How to hull a strawberry
Ever wonder why strawberries are called strawberries? Because all you need to remove the hull from them is a straw. OK…fine, that’s probably not where the name came from, but using a straw is a clever and quick way to get rid of the hull. Using a metal straw, simply push the straw into the bottom of the strawberry and push all the way through aiming for the green leaves at the top. The leaves, stalk and white hull should pop out in one push. Simple, but effective.
