How to cut soft cheese with ease … kitchen helper

One of the greatest joys in life is cheese and while we love all types of cheese, we do have a soft spot for soft cheese; think triple cream brie, truffled brie, or goat cheese. But one thing we don’t like is the way soft cheese can stick to the cheese knife when cutting; that cheese should be going in our mouth, not stuck on the knife! Fortunately, we’ve got a simple solution that ensures we get to savour ever delicious morsel of soft cheese.

You can slice soft cheeses easily using unflavoured dental floss. The floss works like a wire cheese cutter to cut through the cheese without smooshing it. This trick also works for cookie dough logs!
