Estimating food quantities for a large number of people at Christmas can be tricky. Ordering too much will be expensive and wasteful – but under catering is something you definitely want to avoid!
So, here’s a quick reckoner to help you with your calculations. In the case of meat and vegetables, these are raw weights. If you know your family are big eaters, increase quantities by 10-20%.
