The best way to freeze berries … kitchen helper
We love blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries … actually it’s all berries. And one of the things we love about them is that they can be frozen to use later in smoothies or baking, but there’s a little trick that we have that makes frozen berries even better.
When freezing berries, first wash them and pat dry or leave to dry in a single layer on a baking tray lined with paper towel. When dry arrange them on the baking tray with space in between each berry and freeze until solid. This will ensure that the frozen berries don’t clump together and that makes it much easier to measure and use them in recipes. You can transfer them to bags or freezer containers after they have frozen.
