How to reheat pancakes … kitchen helper
Love pancakes? Yep, us too. So much so in fact, that we are guilty of making more than the family can eat in one sitting. If you’re the same, then we can show you how to reheat those leftovers so that you can enjoy pancakes for days to come.
We’ve got three methods for reheating pancakes. Choose the one that suits you best.
1. Microwave
If you can’t wait to enjoy some hot pancakes then the microwave is your go-to-appliance. If you’ve only got one pancake heat it at half power for 10 to 20 seconds. If you’ve got a stack you’ll need to increase the time up to 1 minute.
2. Oven
Preheat your oven to 175C. Line a baking tray with baking paper and lay out the pancakes. Wrap the tray in foil (this will help keep them moist) and pop in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes.
3. Toaster
Yes, you read right, you can reheat pancakes in the toaster. They will get a little crispy on the edges and won’t be as light and fluffy as the other methods but they will still taste great. Simply heat them on a medium setting and keep an eye on them in case they are getting too “done”.
