Do Dry July in style with NON9 Oaked Blackberry and Plum

If you’re doing Dry July, try this delicious non-alcoholic wine alternative from NON, a Melbourne outfit founded by foodie Aaron Trotman, who wanted to bring sophisticated flavour profiles to the non-alcoholic drinks market.
Focussed on matching with food as you would a wine, NON’s drinks are an intricate balancing act of flavour with key notes or floral, tannin, salinity and acidity.
Non9 is the newest addition to their range, featuring fruit notes of roasted plums and beetroots, tannin from fir pine needles, a dash of tamari for salinity, acidity brought by verjus from Viogner grapes from the Goulburn Valley and balanced with a touch of raw sugar as a counterpoint to the tartness of the blackberries.
Non9 should be served chilled in a wine glass, and would pair with steak, ragu or barbequed vegetables.
Non is available at Hill Street stores in West Hobart, Sandy Bay, Devonport, Longford, Blackmans Bay and South Hobart; check with your local store for availability of different flavours. $29.95 per bottle.
