Wild Mother Tasmania, founded and run by Huon-based Dr Tim Jones, was awarded a Champion Medal for their Raspberry Shrub in the recent Sydney Royal Fine Food Show, a national competition discovering Australia’s best fine food producers. Wild Mother won an extraordinary 10 medals all up.

Gold medals went to their Black Cherry Vincotto, and silvers were awarded for their Black Cherry Vinegar and Port Cask Aged Apple Cider Vinegar. The remainder of Tim’s products entered received bronze medals: Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Strawberry Hibiscus Shrub, Resilience Tonic, Tasmanian Whisky Cask Aged Apple Cider Vinegar and Tarragon Apple Cider Vinegar.

We’ve been a supporter of Tim’s since he first came to us with a few of his early products a couple of years ago and asked us what we thought. One taste and we were sold! Read more about Tim’s journey and his products here, available in all Hill Street stores and online here (for southern customers) and here (for northern customers).
