
Frozen Grasshopper
What do you get when you combine ice cream and liqueur? You get a Frozen Grasshopper. This retro number can serve double duty as a creamy dessert and a delightful drink.

What do I need?
- ¼ cup crème de menthe
- ¼ cup crème de cacao
- 2 cups ice cubes
- 700 mL vanilla ice cream
- Whipped cream, to serve (optional)
- Chocolate syrup, to serve (optional)
- Chocolate sprinkles, to serve (optional)
How do I make it?
- Add crème de menthe, crème de cacao, ice cubes, and half the ice cream to a food processor. Blitz until blended, then add remaining ice cream and blitz until thick and creamy.
- Transfer to a freezer-safe lidded container and freeze for at least 2 hours.
- To serve, pour chocolate syrup around the edge of glasses. Scoop the Frozen Grasshopper into glasses and top with whipped cream and sprinkles if desired.
- You can also serve the Frozen Grasshoppers without the garnishes if preferred.
