What do I need?

  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup white choc chips (optional)
  • ¼ cup hundreds and thousands or other sprinkles

How do I make it?

  1. To a clean, sterilised jar add flour, oats, and brown sugar in layers. Gently press each layer with the back of a spoon to pack it and create distinct lines in the jar.
  2. Combine baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, and salt together in a small bowl before adding to the jar, then add cinnamon, choc chips and sprinkles.
  3. You will need to create a gift tag to give with the jar – cut out the one on this page or create your own.

SPRINKLE MUFFINS

Just add a few ingredients to bake up some festive joy!

You’ll need:

  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

To make:

  1. Preheat oven to 190C.
  2. Line or grease a muffin tin.
  3. Pour jar of muffin mix into a large bowl and stir to combine.
  4. In a separate bowl whisk eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla.
  5. Add wet ingredients to dry mix and stir until just combined, don’t overmix.
  6. Divide batter evenly amongst 12 muffin cups.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and a skewer inserted comes out clean.
  8. Cool and enjoy!
