What do I need?
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ cup white choc chips (optional)
- ¼ cup hundreds and thousands or other sprinkles
How do I make it?
- To a clean, sterilised jar add flour, oats, and brown sugar in layers. Gently press each layer with the back of a spoon to pack it and create distinct lines in the jar.
- Combine baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, and salt together in a small bowl before adding to the jar, then add cinnamon, choc chips and sprinkles.
- You will need to create a gift tag to give with the jar – cut out the one on this page or create your own.
SPRINKLE MUFFINS

You’ll need:
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
To make:
- Preheat oven to 190C.
- Line or grease a muffin tin.
- Pour jar of muffin mix into a large bowl and stir to combine.
- In a separate bowl whisk eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla.
- Add wet ingredients to dry mix and stir until just combined, don’t overmix.
- Divide batter evenly amongst 12 muffin cups.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and a skewer inserted comes out clean.
- Cool and enjoy!
