Beemster Royaal Grand Cru has been crowned World Champion Cheese 2026 taking out the top honour at the prestigious World Championship Cheese Contest in Wisconsin, and beating out more than 3300 cheeses from around the globe.

Made in the Netherlands, this aged Gouda-style cheese is renowned for its rich, nutty flavour, caramel notes and delightful crunchy crystals that develop during its long maturation.
