Easter feaster … our Easter orders are now open
Well although we are finding it hard to believe, Easter is literally just around the corner. In four short weeks, the Easter Bunny will be making his deliveries and we will all be wondering just how much chocolate is too much. We know how much you enjoy the convenience of our Christmas online store and order form so we’re proud to bring you our Easter version. We’ve carefully curated a collection of the finest Tasmanian food ready for you to enjoy this Easter. Whether you’re after a seafood feast or a roast for Easter, we’ve got you covered. Read on to learn more about what you will find in this year’s Easter order form.
Because we Tasmanian’s love our seafood, we’ve made sure our Easter offer is packed full of seafood options for you. We’ve got crayfish, oysters, fresh fish, smoked fish, prawns and more. If you want to make your Easter super-easy we recommend one of our seafood platter options. Available in two sizes, they are a convenient way to feed a crowd. Of course we’ve also got some traditional Hill Street Kitchen favourites for you, including our famous Seafood Pie and our always-requested Salmon en Croute. The Seafood Pie is brimming with fresh salmon, scallops, ling and prawns in a garlic cream sauce, while the Salmon en Croute features fresh Tassie salmon topped with Salsa Verde in a buttery puff pastry.
If you’re after a Vegan option, our Chef Rick has created two wonderful dishes that are not to be missed. The Hill Street Kitchen Mushroom Tart has an herb infused spinach and kale filling with fresh shitake, enoki, oyster and field mushrooms in a delicate vegan pastry. Or try the Hill Street Kitchen Nut Loaf which is a feast of mixed nuts, herbs, spices and chickpeas. Both these dishes are cooked, ready for you to heat and eat and both serve approximately four people.
Enjoying an Easter roast? Choose from Wursthaus Tasmanian Lamb, Scottsdale Tasmanian Rolled Pork or Marion Bay chicken. Of course it wouldn’t be a Hill Street Easter without the best and freshest produce so we’ve included fresh berries, citrus, herbs and beans on the order form. We also have our Hill Street Kitchen Quiches available in two sizes, and these are perfect for your Easter buffet.
One of the most loved parts of Easter would have to be the Hot Cross Buns and this year we have options available from two of Tassie’s most loved bakers, Pigeon Whole and Jackman & McRoss. There’s also fresh croissants, the perfect choice for an Easter breakfast so be sure to add them to your order.
Placing an Easter order is really easy, just visit our online Easter store by clicking the button below, or pick up an order form from your favourite Hill Street store. You can nominate your preferred pick up time and all orders will be available for collection on Thursday 1 April, so if you are going away for Easter you can stock up before you leave.
